Gunungkidul is a district that included in the province of daerah istimewa Yogyakarta . and has an area of 1485.36 km2 .... and directly adjacent to the southern ocean (if you want to goes to australia just swim from this beach ... hehe) so that this district has many beaches, including the baron beach, Krakal, Wedi ombo, and many more ....

one of the beaches that I think is interesting is sepanjang beach(pantai sepanjang ), the beach is not too busy as the beach barons and others, but this beach has beauty enough to make me feel enjoy there is, this beach located in the village Kemadang, District Tanjungsari about 1.5 km to the east Baron Beach
It has white sand beaches are quite clean and very spacious, even the coral cliffs add to the beauty of this beach, at low tide we could see the marine animals such as starfish, sea urchins, crabs and small fish, lost afternoon today we can also see the sunset in this place no less beautiful with Losari beach at makasar.. it's very beautyfull. but do not try to swim this beach during high tides because the current is quite swift and very dangerous
